Mission Statement
        The Windsor Historical Society, is dedicated to preserving the heritage of Windsor and area, promoting interest in local history and  facilitating research and education to reveal the influence of local historical events and figures on the character of the city as it is today.

Our Goals
to preserve local history by maintaining a comprehensive archive
to promote interest in local history among members of the community
to facilitate ongoing research into local history
to educate young people about local history and its significance in today's world

We Envision
a society that understands and appreciates the significance of past events
a community that has a sufficient knowledge of its past to sustain and celebrate a strong identity
a society that has learned the valuable lessons of the past and applies them in the present
